I am a Throop bailiff and a self confessed barbel addict,i spent many years fishing for this species dating back to the 1960's fishing most of the rivers such as the Thames-Kennet-Teme-Severn-and all the Avon Rivers.A member of the barbel society for many years.I also was a membership secretary and member of an Essex club for over 30 years.I now live at Throop and will concentrate most of my fishing to the River Stour.
